Importing
Moving from Internet Explorer or Netscape to Firefox
Before you say "Oh, my! I have bookmarks and passwords saved in IE", let me tell you that moving from IE to Firefox is a fast and simple. Once you install Firefox, the first thing it asks you is if you want to import all of your data from Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape.

The import wizard is extremely easy to use. Once you select the browser you're importing from and pick items that you want imported, you're pretty much done. You just have to wait a few seconds to a couple of minutes, depending on how much data you're importing from your old browser. And its done. It copied the settings and you're ready to use Firefox without missing any of your favorites, passwords or history.
